Location short walk to intercity bus stops and supermarket, the lake and the snow dusted mountains behind and the famous “ That Wanaka Tree ”. Clean and attractive room, particularly good bathroom. Quiet bed, exceptional service.

I stayed at this hotel recently and it was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to everything I wanted to see and do. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any queries I had. The room was clean and modern, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected during my time here. I also appreciated the laundry facilities, as it made it easy for me to keep my clothes clean and fresh. I had a fantastic experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Spectacular location. Close to Main Street. Stunning view. Lovely and helpful receptionist. Cozy rooms. Well-equipped kitchen. Clean and well-maintained property.

Great units, very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Plenty of room with a small kitchen, sofa and table and separate bedroom. We sat at the table looking over the lake to the snow capped mountains. Fabulous! If you want any local info, ask Pam, she is great.

We stayed at Wanaka View Motel for 4 days on a mystery golf trip and it was the perfect location. Close to restaurants, bars, and cafes, with stunning lake views. The room was clean and comfortable with modern amenities. The staff, particularly Pam and Melissa, were friendly and helpful, providing great advice for things to do and assisting with our travel plans. Free parking and bikes, as well as a drying room for ski gear, were added bonuses. Highly recommended!

Showers temperature changed which was hard for children and not very pleasant

The motel is right in front of good scenery of mountains and lake.

The rooms are quite small and not so spacious for a big group.

The location was amazing, not far from other parks, local restaurants, and the lake and the bars and restaurants in town, and the free parking was an excellent bonus. Sushi bar Aki Sushi was located 5 minutes walk away. There were a small kitchen, a lounge area, and a kettle in the room, truly enjoyed that. Plus it had superb view over the lake.

Excellent location near city center, supermarket, and lake. Clean and modern facilities with great WiFi. Free use of a large washing machine in the laundry room. Helpful owner provides recommendations for dining and activities.

Bedrooms were far too small, doors could not close as beds were in the way, and there was no room for luggage.

The owners of this motel were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We even got to use their BBQ rack for a Christmas feast when most stores were closed. They were incredibly accommodating and we are so thankful for their hospitality.

Great to have separate bedrooms when travelling with friends. Lovely view.

Would suggest mixer in shower if they were to renovate although motels looked very tidy and recently painted etc
